The Vision: Add to the enhancement work created by the station volunteers and install information boards to describe the work of the volunteers at the station

Delivery:

 

The community volunteers at the station have spent almost two years enhancing the platforms and bringing town and railways closer together.

​

This project provided an important (and missing) ‘Notice’ for passengers to read and be informed about the volunteer activity underway at the station and the funded poster display also provides a contact point for people wanting to enquire about joining the local community group.

 

Thanks to these energetic volunteers, the station is a joyful mix of landscaping and arts and a wonderful place for passengers to wait for trains.
